A Florentine of a Cony

Oh the wonders of medieval cookery. I will follow with more on cooking swans and tench's. what ever they may be. how delicious that food must have been and I'm sure on some occasions rather gone off and rancid. but for now the nostalgia with shine fondly upon these imaginings... tesco, Sainsbury's and, dare i say it, waitrose seem to supply food that never satisfies my hunger. i will display the results for this fine piece as soon as it has been tested and tasted.


A Florentine of a Cony, the wing of a Capon, or the Kidney, of a Veale. MJnce any of these with sweet Hearbes, parboyld Currens, a Date or two minst small, a pieece of a preserued Orenge, or Lemmon, minst as small as your Date. Season it with Ginger, Sinamon, Nutmeg, and Sugar: then take the yolkes of two new laid Egges, a spoonefull of sweet Creame, a piece of a short Cake grated, and Marrow cut in short pieces. Bake this in a dish betweene two leaues of puff-paste, put a little Rosewater to it before you close your Paste. When it is baked shaue on Sugar.

it will be made up of peoples useless keys. the ones you find on your key rings
that no longer have a lock in living memory, like names collected on
mobiles, of people you don't know. these can't be any old keys... I'd
like to invite you to donate your keys to this worthy cause, and a few
hand written explanatory sentences explaining how it achieved its lack
of significance in the world.

please send your lovely keys to me! i will make them in to a llovely lamp and take pictures of them as if they were famous. or designer or something

is this simply a collection of people i admire?

the bombs fall and we bark. found this wonderful work, Mazen Kerbaj. if this is to be a gathering of people who are doing interesting things perhaps i should explain why. they are an ecstacy of simplicity, describing a world i know so little about and reflect fruits of bordem that has been in my head. its like you could enter the scribbles the same way you could enter a story book when you were a kid.

Is old new no news? I went to a conference on digital live art at the begining of the month and now find myself wanting to share images. Oh, when will the day come when I can digitally record my memories and share them all with you straight away? I now vow to find something interesting everyday...
